I went to Rhode Island for work today. And I left really, really early. I left at about 5 AM. Doesn't seem all that early but if you've been out at the prom the night before, 5 AM comes up on you quickly. Especially if you had a couple of Scotch and cokes still winding their way through your bloodsteam. The drive was uneventful, the day at work was pretty uneventful and I had a great evening eating sushi and drinking beer with some of my coworkers. But it certainly wouldn't be interesting to you.
But I will say that one of the people in our Rhode Island office is the coolest person in Rhode Island. For some reason, our senses of humor clicked and we literally can't say anything to each other without launching into some hysterical conversation. It's weird because when she worked here in our New Jersey office, we were polite and had some friendly conversations but nothing out of the ordinary. But now everytime we get together, it's comedy gold. I think there should actually be an award for Coolest Person in Rhode Island. She'd win, hands down and on so many levels..
