Send Me Love

I worked in our Rhode Island office until about 12:30 this afternoon. Then I set out to be able to get across the GWB before things got ugly - traffic wise. It didn't make a difference. I was within 8 miles of the bridge when traffic came to a complete stop. From there, it took me an hour and 20 minutes to get to the bridge. I was still able to pick up the boys from school which was nice.

On the home front, Claudine told me that the town returned my call about picking up the remains of the shed and the old swing set. They said that they would send a truck to pickup everything as long as everything was under 4 feet long and there were no nails. Well, there were no nails but plenty of rusty screws. They are going to have to be more specific next time. Also, most of the pieces of the swing set plus many of the shed pieces must be over 4 feet long. So we'll see what happens.

The pool is so very, very close to being in top shape. The water finally has the blue color to it, but it is still a little hazy. At least I can now see a big swath of leaves in the middle of the deep end that I missed when I was vacuuming. I'd like to have that done by Jake's party this weekend. Even if no one swims, I rather not have a disgusting pool be a topic of conversation.

Claudine took Annabel to the doctor this afternoon. Annie has been congested for about a week and a half. And when you are 25 days old, that's significant. The real problem with the congestion is that all that mucus is causing her to barf all the time. And the barfing of breast milk is pissing of both Claudine and Annie. Annie because she is still hungry and Claudine because she sees it as a big waste of her body's efforts.

I'm tired so this will be the end of another boring entry
