Unproductive

I've been relatively non-productive the past two days. I haven't worked out since Wednesday morning. I was going to run tonight, but good ole New Jersey springtime has the temperature around 88 degrees at 4:30 PM. Faced with the choice of running in 88 degrees or 65 degrees (as forcasted for tomorrow) I'll take the lazy way out and choose tomorrow. Of course, the optimum choice would have been to run both days. Ha! Actually, I haven't run for about a week, but I did substitute in some 40 minutes sessions on the stationary bike.

At work, I've been just as unproductive. I have huge projects ahead of me, but just can't get started. I keep doing little things. These little things are things that needed to be done, but I usually neglect these little jobs because the bigger projects. Now they serve to keep from the big jobs. I mean, I cleaned my desk off. How pathetic is that? I cleaned my desk rather than bring up an Exchange mail server. Hopefully, Monday I can find the motivation.

So tomorrow is the big shower. I've got to keep Jake and Bobby (and me, of course) out of the house from 1:30 to 4:30. I still don't have a plan. It's weird. When I just go out with Jake or Bobby or both, I never get this anxiety. I used to just throw Jake in the car on a Saturday and just run errands for hours. Go to Home Depot, get bagels, go to the Auto parts store, stop by the comic book store, and then do a full grocery shopping trip. We'd be gone for hours. But now when I have an actual set time and responsibility to keep them out of the house, occupied, and entertained, I'm having performance anxiety. Oh well, its only 3 hours, how bad can it be?

I see from my server logs that at least a few people are reading this thing. One of the things that you may have noticed is that I cannot remember the proper usage of its and it's. If anyone has a nice simple rule to help me remember, e-mail it to me please.
